Make a Difference in Young Lives: Special Education Teacher (Multiple Positions) - Soliant Education (Peoria, AZ Area)

Are you a passionate educator dedicated to helping students with special needs thrive?

Soliant Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in the Peoria, AZ area We have multiple full-time, on-site positions available for the 2024-2025 school year, offering the rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students from Kindergarten through 8th grade (K-8).

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and related service providers to create a comprehensive and supportive learning environment for students with special needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state standards and IEP goals, focusing on the specific needs of students across the K-8 spectrum.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and differentiated learning techniques to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Provide social-emotional learning support to promote students' overall well-being as they navigate the challenges and joys of elementary and middle school.
  • Monitor student progress, collect data, and report on student achievement.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Arizona State Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for licensure with a focus on K-8 education.
  • Experience working with students with special needs in an elementary or middle school setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of special education curriculum, assessment practices, and instructional methodologies tailored to students with diverse learning needs across K-8.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction, create a positive and inclusive learning environment, and effectively manage a classroom conducive to learning.
  • Understanding of the unique social and emotional needs of students with special needs.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for helping students with special needs reach their full potential.
