Detection Engineer Analyst, SME

- The Detection Engineer Analyst SME will support the production of detection use cases.
- Detection Engineer Analyst SME will provide senior-level knowledge and IA abilities to support detection monitoring activities.
- Detection Engineer Analyst SME will utilize logs and alerts from host operating systems, network intrusion prevention systems, endpoint detection and response tools, anti-virus and host intrusion prevention systems, and other sources to create the ability to detect malicious or unauthorized activity on the network.
- Applicant selected will develop and perform various IA tasks in accordance with customer requirements in order to successfully support detection monitoring requirements.
Requirements
- An active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) is required. Applicant selected will be subject to security investigation(s) and must maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, engineering, or information assurance is required.
- Experience with IA tools such as eMass or ACAS preferred.
- DoD 8140.03 IAT Level III compliance. Selected candidate must hold a valid IAT Level III certification.
