We are seeking a qualified contractor to provide cybersecurity engineering support, focusing on critical infrastructure protection, response actions, and information assurance for the agency's networks, systems, and data. This role is vital to ensuring the security of sensitive information and safeguarding organizational assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cyber Defense Implementation: Design and implement processes and solutions to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats targeting infrastructure and information systems.
  • Threat Response and Detection: Develop and deploy analytic and anomaly detection capabilities to identify intrusions early in the intrusion kill chain, assuming systems may already be compromised.
  • Risk Management Framework (RMF) Support: Assist with the implementation and maintenance of RMF policies, procedures, and documentation for cybersecurity assessments and authorizations.
  • Package Submitting Officer (PSO) Support: Provide expert support in submitting and tracking security packages through the RMF process, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
  • Navy Validation Support: Provide support for Navy-specific cybersecurity validation processes, ensuring that all systems and networks meet the required security standards.

Key Objectives:

  • Strengthen defenses against cyber-attacks and threats, including complex, large-scale intrusion attempts.
  • Implement proactive measures to detect and mitigate risks to critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure the organization remains in compliance with established cybersecurity standards and frameworks.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: BS degree in Cybersecurity or Tech related field.
  • 3 years of related progressive professional work experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer.
  • Must be proficient as an RMF/SME/NQV Information
  • Must be certified IAT Level 2.
  • Must hold an active Top Secret clearance.
