Role:
The role of the EFT Manager is to manage the electronic funds transfer programs ensuring the integrity of both member and credit union assets and that all processes are in compliance with applicable rules & regulations.

Summary of Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Manage all EFT issues that cannot be completed/resolved immediately by department or branch personal, this includes communication internally with Arizona Central Credit Union (AZCCU) Associates and externally with members or business partners. Assist credit union staff with problems and questions relating to all EFT payment functions/methods. Manages all processes relating to the ACH program to ensure compliance with all internal procedures, NACHA rules & guidelines, and both Federal & State agency guidelines. Manages all processes related to electronic payment channels including but not limited to: Online Banking, Bill Payments, Funds Transfers, SWBC Loan Payments, & Wires. Manages electronic processes for our Business Members including remote deposit products and ACHieve payroll and ACH origination products. Manages Iron Mountain shredding ensuring staff has required supplies, storage and shredding pickups are coordinated and Iron Mountain personnel are escorted when making pickups. Maintain thorough knowledge and comprehensive understanding of all team job duties and AZCCU policies/procedures. Provides requested information in preparation for and in response to department audits. Addresses/resolves escalated service/technical issues and monitors related reporting; ensures integrity and compliance of department services. Review and act on various reports as needed. Assists Support Services leadership when needed to fulfill Credit Union strategic objectives. Keeps management informed of changes/issues affecting team and/or operations. Clearly communicates a proper sense of urgency. Reports key department metrics within established deadlines. Direct, train, develop, motivate, hire, and discipline department personnel; administer performance goal setting/achievement and recommend appropriate personnel action. Ensures EFT Team members adhere to established Service Level Agreements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

: Five to eight years of similar or related experience

: A two-year college degree or equivalent. Position requires obtaining and maintaining Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or equivalent certification.

: Work involves much personal contact with others inside or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

: Excellent verbal and written skills required, in addition to sound computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
