General Description:

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

Sell the complete G3 Line including auto, light truck, medium truck, heavy truck, farm, specialty tires and retreads.  Sell the full-service concept offered by the Commercial Centers to the commercial customer, including alignments and other services, Wing-fil and rim & amp, and wheel services.  Service walk-in customers by communicating necessary information to facilitate sales.  Use proper billing procedures and credit approval procedures.  Answer and/or direct all phone inquiries in a professional manner.  Follow all established sales and marketing programs within the Goodyear Tire and Service Center, including selling at established pricing guidelines.  Attend sales training and continually working to improve sales skills.  Provide "Service Excellence - Always" to meet the service goals of the location and of guests.  Document work performed on service ticket  Comply with all safety and liability guidelines and policies  All other duties as assigned by management. 

Basic Requirements:  

3 years of direct selling experience in a business to business environment.  A minimum of 2 years of successfully working with a sales team in a business to business environment, which can be included in the 3 years of direct selling experience.  No relocation is being offered for this position.  Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. 

Preferred Qualifications:   

High School Diploma or GED.  Previous Commercial Tire Sales Experience 

Candidate Criteria:  

Strong oral and written communication ability.  Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.  Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.  Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative, be able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
