DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker International is actively seeking a Project Manager in the Bridge Group to join our Phoenix, AZ Operations on DOT and municipal projects from inception through completion.

Duties include:

Manage bridge analysis, design, reports, plan production, etc. Lead projects with multiple disciplines and subconsultants Provide technical guidance and training for junior staff Implement and/or conduct QA/QC procedures  Arrange, prepare, and conduct internal and external meetings Prepare budgets, scopes, and schedules Prepare invoicing and complete billing for assigned projects Other duties as assigned

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) 7+ years of experience in bridge engineering AZ professional engineer (PE) registration Experience managing and mentoring engineering staff Working knowledge of industry engineering software Demonstrated ability to effectively manage: communication with clients, staff and peers budgets and schedules teams across multiple offices subconsultants change problem-solving, negotiations, decisions other typical business requirements

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $115to 170K. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
