**CEI is seeking a senior Inspector for several Bridge Projects** in the Phoenix metro area.
- Job Requirements- Experienced in heavy civil highway projects specific to roads and bridges. Senior Inspection regarding all bridge structure inspections. (FHWA-NBI) AZ experience within AZDOT/MCDOT/Municipality
- Perform contract item inspections for ensuring compliance with plans and specifications on all phases of highway and bridge construction projects.
- Inspects work standards: production, productivity, and quality standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvement.
- Approves incoming materials by auditing adherence to specifications, conduct of visual and measurement tests, and materials rejection.
- Approves in-process production by auditing adherence to specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production personnel.
- Approves finished products by auditing adherence to specifications, conduct of visual and measurement tests, return of products for re-work and waster reports; inputting data into quality database.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Prefer: Civil Engineering Degree
- Other desirable certifications: NICET
