Job Title:Patient Accounts Specialis
Location: Nashville, Tennessee (Remote)
Duration: Long Term


Key Responsibilities:
1. Call Handling:Initiate outbound calls to individuals eligible for Medicaid y and effectively communicate the purpose of the call and guide recipients through the redetermination inquiries, providing accurate and timely information as needed.
2. Documentation Assistance:Educate Medicaid recipients on the required documentation needed for individuals in gathering and submitting necessary paperwork for redetermination.
3. Data Collection and Verification:Collect accurate and up-to-date information from individuals during phone and cross-reference provided information with existing records to ensure data integrity
4. Compliance and Regulations:Stay informed about Medicaid regulations, policies, and procedures related to compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines throughout the redetermination process.
5. Problem Resolution:Identify and address customer concerns or issues, escalating problems to the appropriate channels when collaboratively with team members to find solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Record Keeping:Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions with Medicaid nt any changes or updates related to redetermination status.
7. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns professionally and ent the organization positively to build trust and rapport with Medicaid recipients.
8. Reporting:Generate and submit regular reports on redetermination progress as directed.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in public health, healthcare administration, or related field is a plus.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is required for effective communication with team members and partners.
• Prior experience in a call center, customer service, patient accounts, or Medicaid-related roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicaid regulations and redetermination processes is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate and utilize relevant computer systems and software.
