ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Logistics with documentation, including but not limited to: • Preparation for internal/external audits. • Formatting and development of maintenance procedures and checklists. • Formatting and development of warehouse processes, including data retrieval for monthly reports (KPIs reports / EOM reports / Utilization reports).
• Assistance with implementation of new systems including training manuals, setting up dashboards, etc.
• Formatting logistic desk manuals (step-by-step instructions of daily tasks) and uploading into M-Files.
• Assistance with truck and rail packages as needed.
• Gathering paperwork/information for customer complaints/issues to help determine root cause analysis (RCAs).
• Archiving shipping documentation monthly to the warehouse.
• KPI reporting from daily Operations Meeting.
• Maintain M-Files process and systems, including formatting all needed documentation and uploading into M-Files.
• Administer M-Files access and revision control to ensure appropriate security, based on business needs. • Maintain all operational excellence documentation and materials.
• Provide additional support to the organization as required, including maintaining original documents, loading documents into the M-Files, and updating controlled lists.
• Maintain all documents, including but not limited to standard operating procedures (SOPs) specifications.
• Update all operational procedures as needed; a yearly review and redline is required.
JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Must be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced atmosphere, learn quickly, work independently on a team and must be able to collaborate well with employees of all levels. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and results oriented. • Ability to prioritize work and meet required deadlines. • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects while remaining responsive to their respective needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to obtain Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC) down the road
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
• Experience with databases and advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
