responsibilities:
Produce high-quality technical manuals including parametric CAD models of machinery to share with customers

Update previous and existing manuals and maintain database

Create exploded views for maintenance and spare parts diagrams

Collaborate with internal teams to get understanding of products and documentation requirements

Create and maintain a library of existing manuals, including part numbers in the ERP system Requirements:

At least 5 years of Technical Writing experience, equipment or manufacturing machinery preferred

Excellent written communication abilities and software proficiency with Solidworks, 3D CAD and Adobe Suite; Microsoft Office

Ability to navigate programming software to capture HMI screens for documentation

Abilities with SolidWorks Composer

Proficiency to work with 3D CAD software to export models to include in documentation

Technical aptitude needed to grasp complex technical concepts and make them understandable through pictures and diagrams

Bachelor's degree in technical field, mechanical drafting or similar preferred
