The Leasing Consultant acts as the property sales representative and presents features and benefits of the community to prospective tenants. A successful Leasing Consultant must be service oriented, possess sales experience, be detail oriented, and enjoy interacting with a variety of clients.

Responsibilities/Skills/Duties:
  • Maintains a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where prospective residents and residents meet
  • Inspects models and "market ready" vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness
  • Ensures all communications are responded to promptly
  • Have a working knowledge of local market conditions
  • Properly completes all lease documents and communication with applicants
  • Performs follow-up activities with all prospects
  • Completes monthly training such as Federal Fair Housing classes, Leasing classes, etc.
  • Participate in and ensure outreach marketing is completed as assigned
  • Ensures completion by maintenance of any deficiencies noted on move-in condition and inventory form
  • Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments
  • Additional duties as assigned 
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
  • Detail orientation
  • Advanced customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with products in the Microsoft Office Suite
