Snell & Wilmer is one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Western United States is currently seeking a  Client Review Counsel  to work in the Office of General Counsel in the Phoenix office .

If you have a strong knowledge of outside counsel guidelines or contracts, are able to build strong relationships, act proactively and have the ability to analyze complex documents and have a strong attention to detail, then we look forward to speaking with you

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Review, analyze, and provide comments on, Outside Counsel Guidelines, requests for proposal, client generated engagement letters, and expert engagement letters Facilitate, track, and help implement Outside Counsel Guidelines Work with and provide support to others in the Office of General Counsel, including Conflicts Counsel, Senior Client Review Counsel, and General Counsel Additional duties as assigned by the firm’s General Counsel

Experience and Qualifications:

A Juris Doctorate degree and in good standing with the local bar or applicable state supreme court At least three years of experience as a practicing attorney, with contract review/drafting, issue spotting, professional liability, or loss prevention skills an advantage. Strong knowledge of ethical requirements a plus. Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making skills and advising Ability to work effectively under pressure, to manage sensitive and confidential information, and to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high degree of interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
