Analyst ll -- Data Science with Top Secret Clearance
Position Overview
Are you passionate about delivering critical technology solutions to federal agencies and supporting their mission? Are you self-organizing, motivated, and client focused? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with an active Top-Secret clearance to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to support various projects that contribute to national security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and deliver actionable insights that drive decision making needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions. Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to solve complex problems. Data Management: Clean, preprocess, and organize data from diverse sources ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other data scientists, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions. Visualization: Create clear, concise, and compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders. Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to continually improve methodologies and processes. Security Compliance: Ensure all work complies with security protocols and maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information.Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree or PhD is preferred. Experience: BS and 3 years / MS and 1 year of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field. Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance is required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Strong understanding of advanced mathematics, statistical methods, and data analysis techniques. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, ARGIS, matplotlib). Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications are preferred PHD is preferred Experience working at clients such as U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Commerce Department, Department of State (preferred), Department of the Interior, etc.Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000
