 (PC) welcomed its first students as one of the first institutions of higher education in Maricopa County on September 13, 1920. Job Summary

Working within a learning college environment, this position provides one-stop student service enrollment functions to new and continuing students. Collaborates with various teams supporting the Contact Center, Welcome Desk, Admissions, and Records & Registration to provide support services to testing, advising, financial aid, veterans, international, and other-related enrollment services. Delivers customer support through face-to-face interactions, inbound and outbound phone calls, chat, text, and various other communication channels. This position utilizes multiple technology systems to efficiently help students navigate enrollment processes.

Essential Functions

55% - Provides comprehensive student support, specializing in enrollment services, within the Enrollment Services/Admissions, Records & Registration areas, in person, phone (call center making inbound and outbound calls), email, chat, text, and other modes to prospective and current students. Assists new and continuing students with all aspects of the enrollment process, including admissions, placement testing, registration, academic and financial aid probation/suspension status, veteran services, international education programs, career services, students needing special assistance, transfer requirements, and corresponds with students to resolve problems related to student services functions.

20% - Collects, inputs, modifies, and verifies student information in the Customer Relationship Management CRM), Student Information System (SIS), AmazonConnect, and other systems. Reviews and processes student applications for accuracy and completeness and requests additional information when needed. Performs online data entry, including processing documents. Updates student records as required, following guidelines and applicable laws, policies, rules, and regulations.
 

15% - Working in a team environment, assists in training staff in the student services areas; directs the work of student and temporary workers; assists with duties in the evenings as needed; serves on cross-functional committees; provides backup support to One Stop support staff and performs other related duties as assigned.

10% - Assists with special projects related to enrollment activities, including the processing of documents and presenting information to interest groups, and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and one (1) year of full-time student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs

OR

High School Diploma and three (3) years of full-time student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs.

Desired Qualifications

One (1) or more years of full-time equivalent customer service experience with a high degree of public contact. One (1) or more years of full-time equivalent experience working in a high-volume call center. One (1) or more years of experience working in a higher education environment with a role in admissions, records, registration, advisement, financial aid, outreach, or recruitment. One (1) or more years of experience working with student services systems, including online Student Information Systems (, PeopleSoft), Customer Relationship Management (, SalesForce, ASSIST), and Student Services Management (, Cranium Café). One (1) or more years of experience working in a team environment. One (1) or more years of experience utilizing Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office.

Special Working Conditions

Hours of operation: Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 6 pm, Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, varied schedule within these hours. May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends (40-hour week) This position’s area of responsibility requires working fully in person.  Travel to campus during the interview/selection process will be at the candidate's own expense.
