Movement Disorder Specialist

Employment Conditions : Must have Kansas medical license.
Required Qualifications
Education: MD or foreign degree equivalent to an MD.
Work Experience:
Completion of a three (3) year neurology residency.
Completion of a one (1) year fellowship in Movement Disorders.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience: Previous experience in Parkinson and Alzheimer disease research.
Job Duties:
Be part of the Movement Disorder program at the medical school.
Develop independent research projects and publish scholarly publications from these efforts.
Attend on the general neurology consult service. , Supervise neurology residents. This will include supervision of residents in the hospital wards, and in the neurology clinic.
See patients in the outpatient neurology clinic.
Teach medical students in clinic and on the inpatient consult service, and provide occasional lectures to medical students. Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of Movement Disorder.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by department chair.
