Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.
Position Summary: 40 hours, 3pm-11:30pm shifts, Every Other Weekend.
Summary:
Perform cleaning, servicing, and light maintenance functions throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
Dry mops, wet mops vacuums and empties trash in assigned areas each day. Cleans assigned area utilizing proper cleaning agent. Utilizes equipment such as buffing machine, burnisher, vacuum cleaner, wall, and window cleaner according to manual standards. Performs tasks requiring the use of a ladder, i.e. removal and installation of drapes, curtains and shades and cubicles as requested. Obtains supplies and equipment at the beginning of each shift and puts supplies and equipment away at the end of each shift. Buffs/ burnishers an average of 10 rooms per shift and assigned hallways each day. Cleans assigned area in designated period. Assists designated supervisor in set-ups, moves and rearrangement of furniture and equipment. Executes job with little supervision.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in stripping and waxing floors, use of buffing machine and extractor machine required.Benefits:
