POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Solar Project Accountant provides comprehensive financial support for the Solar Division Project Management Teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Processes multiple staff expenses and credit card statements

Serves as a liaison for Operations and Human Resources

Provide support to Project Administrators in the recruitment process

Daily processing of invoices

Process hourly and salary payroll on a weekly and biweekly pay schedule

Manage insurance compliance

Monitor, manage and maintain all project financials

Process change orders, contracts, release of liens and subcontractor payment applications

Occasional travel to job sites as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum 2 years office experience at a General Contractor and/or within the construction management industry

Strong communication skills; with a customer service focus towards the field project teams

MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat proficiency required

Construction financial management software familiarity such as CMIC is helpful

Experience with Timeclock Plus, Ebix, Corpay, Kofax, or Imagetrust is preferred

Experience with AIA documents preferred

Working knowledge of budgets, cost codes, and construction cost accounting
