This position offers remote work flexibility with expected working hours in CST/EST. The ideal candidate will be open to periodic engagement near Rockford, Illinois and Windsor Locks, CT, with travel expected to be around 15%.

What YOU will do:

You will work in a Power and Controls, Central Digital Engineering DevOps team to develop and support DevOps pipelines for Build, Test, Automated Artifact generation and software release.

You will work alongside digital product lifecycle teams in India to configure, integrate, and support tools for improved software development.

You will be a point of contact for the business for DevOps projects’ status.

You will work within Embedded Product Software Environment utilizing DO178, DO330/331 or equivalent experience.

What YOU will learn:

You will gain the knowledge of applying DevOps to Aerospace software product development and compliance testing.

You will gain experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and cloud strategy implementation.

Education & Experience:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications you must have:

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Proficiency in DevSecOps Agile Project Management.

Experience with Object or Component-Oriented Development Software.

Knowledge of CI/CD and Release Engineering Process.

Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.

Ability to conduct Compliance Testing and Management.

Experience in Software Test Case Automation.

Skills we value:

Hands-on experience with DevSecOps/DevOps setup, management, and utilization of software factory/tools pipeline for embedded software product development.

Familiarity with various software process tools such as Polarion ALM Tools Suite, Gitlab, VSCode, Eclipse, Jenkins, Matlab, Polyspace, Coverity, Artifactory, Rapita, Robot Framework, and Grafana.

Proficiency in API Integration.

Knowledge of Safety Critical Software Development Lifecycle.

Experience with Virtualization, including Virtual Machines and Docker/Containers
