Position Summary

The Global Knowledge Management (GKM) team is seeking a strong analytical resource to serve as a technical lead and business analyst for the ServiceNow Knowledge module with additional touchpoints to the Employee Service Center portal translation capabilities and other ITSM processes. The Senior Knowledge Management Analyst will partner with key stakeholders (IT, HR, and user communities) to evolve and test existing tool capabilities and facilitate the simplification of the processes for authors and content administration teams. Through collaboration with all stakeholders, the analyst will ensure that the needs of the business and organization are met, that users are provided with the right level of technology support, and that corporate IT resources are used effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and supports the KM technology infrastructure strategy (build, test, deploy, incident management, etc.) in collaboration with the core Global Knowledge Management team and is informed by the goals and objectives of the KM program Supports the knowledge-sharing, requirement gathering, and technology needs of KM-related teams, business-unit groups, individual networks, and other stakeholders as needed Engages in and supports KM-related technology, training, and awareness activities online, in print, and face-to-face where needed Demonstrates best practices and knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of enabling technologies and processes


Qualifications & Experience

Expert understanding of ServiceNow’s Knowledge module, including information architecture and organizational and data taxonomies. Prior experience working in a Knowledge Management type role. Able to elicit requirements from both business and IT and translate them into technical strategies and user experience improvements Ability to articulate the business requirement into user stories to facilitate accurate enhancements and requirements. Creative and self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analysis skills (thinks creatively) Fluency in critical thinking, structured analysis, and problem solving Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Engage and SharePoint. Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organized and efficient, with the ability to stay on schedule under tight, frequently changing, client-driven deadlines Ability to work effectively with colleagues from related disciplines (especially IT) and other improvement initiatives (e.g., operational excellence, Lean Sigma, etc.) within the enterprise Analytics and Data Management Good business process re-engineering skills Good project management experience Interpersonal Skills (Active listening and communications) Good customer support skills
