Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Group/Aquatics Fitness Instructor  position in our beautiful community in Dunedin, FL.

Under the direction of the Wellness/Aquatics & Enrichment Director, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of health-related programs and services, including hands-on group fitness by implementing and applying programs that meet resident health and wellness needs. Responsibilities involve developing and leading programs, as well as coordinating group fitness programming. The instructor is also responsible for ensuring that the Wellness Center is clean and available for assigned groups or activities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of experience in senior living personal training or group exercise instruction Group fitness or Personal Training certification in a subject area such as exercise science or health education Aquatic Exercise Association (AFA) certification Lifeguard and Pool Operator certification (desired) Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
