The IT Software Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's software systems. This role ensures the efficient operation of software applications, provides technical support, and implements software solutions to meet business needs.

Hourly Pay Rate:  $23

Schedule:  Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm

Location: Mesa, AZ (on-site)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in software support or related Education. Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server). Familiarity with scripting/development languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, C#, REST API). Knowledge of IT security best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently (Manager of one) and collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent writing and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:  Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Configure, and maintain various software applications used across the organization. Manage onboarding/off-boarding, user accounts, permissions, and access controls for various software systems. Perform regular software monitoring, updates and patches to ensure security and optimal performance. Troubleshoot software issues and provide timely resolution to end-users. Develop and maintain documentation for software systems and processes. Creating basic queries to push/pull data for reporting, dashboards, and other integrations. Build SharePoint Framework and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) custom solutions. Assist in the evaluation and selection of new software solutions. Participate in IT projects related to software implementation and integration. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Provide Continuous Process Improvements in all relevant IT areas.
