Engineering Supervisor- Hillcrest

Position Summary:

The Hillcrest Engineering Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing departmental services subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV and the hospital administrative team standards. Responsible for providing effective and efficient acquisition and upkeep of equipment, grounds, utilities and facilities with an overall goal of ensuring a safe and effective environment to contribute toward the improvement of community health and quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent Montana Licensure (Boiler), required within 18 months of employment Three (3) years of maintenance experience

Essential Job Functions:

Collaborates with System Director and Manager to implement processes and vendors as directed or required Collaborate with System Director, Manager of Facilities, along with Director of Senior Services with implementation of capital plan for the campus. Lead and support organization surveys with local, state and federal regulatory agencies. Provide on-call support as needed Assists leadership with broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements. Ensures a collaborative departmental approach to long-range strategic operational planning, care and service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization. Continuously assesses, measures and improves departmental performance. Demonstrates responsible management of all departmental resources. Demonstrates technical and managerial competency. Ensures staff professional needs are met. Coordinates and assists with daily repairs and preventative maintenance of building and its systems, apartment refurbishments, grounds maintenance and safety needs, and resident work orders. Performs walk throughs, monitors, schedules professional evaluations of systems to regulation requirements.
