We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of computer systems, a keen eye for troubleshooting, and a passion for technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks, ensuring our technology infrastructure performs optimally and securely.

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of computer systems, a keen eye for troubleshooting, and a passion for technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks, ensuring our technology infrastructure performs optimally and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks across various platforms, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Implement and/or coordinate with MSP to manage system updates, backups, and patches. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely and effective solutions. May require coordinating with various MSP’s. Enhance system security measures, ensuring data protection and network access control. Manage user accounts and permissions, following best practices for data security. Document system performance, including incident reports and resolutions. Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures. Lead/participate in IT projects, including system installations, upgrades, and migrations. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3-5 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, macOS), networking technologies, and hardware configurations. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, barracuda, etc). Solid understanding of security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.Working Conditions:
Full-time position with occasional after-hours support for system maintenance and emergency issues. Primarily office-based with the possibility of remote work, depending on project requirements and operational needs.Why Ardurra?
