About Us
Founded in June 2023, Crete Professionals Alliance (Crete PA) aims to drive growth across accounting and professional service firms in the United States. Our initial venture in August 2023 involved acquiring a majority interest in the non-attest assets of a top 300 US-based national firm, positioning us alongside the top 100 US accounting firms based on cumulative revenue. With nearly ten partner firms, multiple deals under LOI, and substantial committed capital, Crete PA is poised to shortly become equivalent to a top 50 firm in terms of aggregate revenue, with ambitions to expand into a multi-country platform. Supported by ZBS Partners, a firm managing over $500 million in assets, and led by cofounders experienced in developing multi-industry platforms, Crete PA partners with local firms to enhance their independence while boosting their revenue and profitability.
Position Summary
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Crete PA corporate technology platforms including Microsoft Azure/Office365, security toolsets, endpoint setup and performance, network infrastructure, equipment lifecycle, and other productivity applications such as Adobe and DocuSign. The position also involves the collaboration with and oversite of managed services and other providers as well as the implementation and cloud transformation of member firms and other responsibilities within the Merger & Acquisition playbook. The Systems Administrator will operate as the corporate lead out of Headquarters in Tampa Florida and also provide support and oversite to member firms in the Southeast region.
Position Responsibilities
- Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Manage and maintain the central Microsoft environment including Office 365 and Azure
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Intune, Security controls, and compliance information
- Contribute to and maintain information systems policies, procedures, and standards
- Contribute to and Support the Merger & Acquisition playbook
- Operate as a subject matter expert and collaborate with business stakeholders
- Partner with and manage the MSP in a general support capacity
- Manage procurements and service providers such as VARs, telcos and software
- Support other IT projects including Cloud migrations for all subsidiaries and partners
- Contribute to the innovative and continual improvement process
- Monitor the health of the computing fabric of the organization
- Some regional travel required
Skills
- Excellent organizational and communication
- Efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution ability
- Cloud infrastructure design, build, and maintain
- Microsoft Office 365 and Azure systems administration and engineering (hybrid and cloud native)
- Network infrastructure administration and engineering
- Change management and information system lifecycle best practices
- Workstation and endpoint setup and management
- Security platform administration
- Business continuity and incident response planning
- Project management
Education and work experience:
- 5-7 experience managing Microsoft Azure(tuning), Office 365, and Microsoft Active Directory
- 2-3 years experience with Microsoft Autopilot and Endpoint configurations
- 2-3 years hands-on Azure Intune administration and associated policies
- 3-5 years Network and Systems/Server administration
- 5-7 years experience administration and engineering of business information systems
Preferred
- Bachelors in computer science or related field
- Experience with larger organizations and advanced IT practices
- Prior role owning similar cloud administration responsibilities
- Experience with advanced Information Security models and frameworks such as ISO 27001
- Experience integrating organizations in a merger and acquisition environment
