Job Details

Develop the PMO Operating Model: Lead the creation and implementation of a standardized operating model as the organization evolves into a system-wide operational structure. This includes integrating Lean methodology to drive continuous performance improvement, establishing a robust communication framework across all business entities, and developing universal templates for meeting cadence and structure that align with Catholic Health's vision and values. Lead and Manage the OpEx PMO: Oversee the scheduling, vetting, and management of all OpEx meetings and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Catholic Health's strategic priorities. Ensure that all meetings are efficiently run, with the correct audience, materials, and follow-through on action items.
Support Entity COO Meetings: Support the scheduling, vetting, and management of entity COO meetings and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Catholic Health's strategic priorities. Ensure that all meetings are efficiently run, with the correct audience, materials, and follow-through on action items.
Support Senior Leadership Meetings: Provide strategic support for meetings chaired by members of the Catholic Health Executive Leadership team, including the CEO, COO, CTO, and CFO. Ensure these meetings are well-organized, with clear agendas, relevant materials, and follow-up on action items to drive decision-making and organizational alignment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, expectations, and deliverables. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on project execution and organizational priorities.
Executive Reporting: Deliver high-impact executive summaries and presentations for OpEx leadership, board meetings, and other leadership forums. Ensure clear, concise, and actionable communication of progress, risks, and recommendations.
Project and Initiative Oversight: Manage the submission, validation, and execution of budgeted initiatives (such as Corporate PIPs). Ensure all initiative tracking is done on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain an executive goal-tracking dashboard to monitor progress and drive accountability toward Catholic Health Executive Goals. Lead initiatives to refine and enhance project management teams, processes, tools, and methodologies across the organization.
Team Leadership and Development: Provide foundational leadership and direction while building the PMO team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth. Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing PMO.

Required Skills and Experience:

Extensive Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in leading large-scale, complex projects and initiatives within a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
Executive-Level Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Expertise in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and OneDrive, with the ability to create polished, professional presentations and reports.

Strategic Leadership: Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and driving alignment with organizational goals.

Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization, influencing outcomes and driving collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. PMP or similar project management certification preferred. Experience in lean methodology preferred. Experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred. Masters Preferred (or ongoing Masters Preparation). MBA, MHA, MPH ACHE membership, affiliation and/ or ACHE Fellow status preferred.

Salary Range

USD - USD /Yr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
