The purpose of this position is to processes releases on all paid consumer and commercial loans.

Responsibilities

Process lien releases on paid loans for multiple states Assist internal and external clients with problems that may arise pertaining to the perfection of the Trustmark’s lien and paid loans. Perform research to determine status of the recorded or release of documentation, such as auto titles, Deeds of Trust/Mortgages, etc. Process requests for insurance letters of guarantee on vehicles that are a total loss. Submit releases on life insurance policies to various companies and maintain a file of daily letters Assist in the Collateral Vault to file collateral documentation. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED Two-year college education preferred One year of work experience involving contractual documentation preferred General knowledge of loan collateral documentation and lien release requirements Understanding of overall banking with emphasis on loan operations Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment Display strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Provide excellent customer service skills Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office and other document management-type software One year of work experience involving contractual documentation preferred
