Communicate and coordinate CAD software changes with a world-wide CAD team. Provide training and support for design, product and process engineers in the choice and use of CAD tools and flows. Evaluate and integrate commercial EDA tools into memory-specific design flows. Provide project leadership on CAD software engineering assignments of moderate complexity, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources. Contribute to the success of the design team by applying CAD tools to specific designs as needed. Focus on design and CAD infrastructure and setup, specifically: Methodics, Perforce, Jenkins, Virtuoso, Web servers and apps, Project setup and permissions and Design environment. Contribute to the development of new memory products by designing, developing, maintaining, supporting and using CAD software for memory product development. Develop tools and flows of moderate complexity used in circuit design, physical design, functional and physical verification, performance and yield optimization, and tapeout. Help define, document and train on software development best practices. Mentor new hires on code practices. Help define our next generation software development practices. May telecommute from home part-time.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Microelectronics or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Engineer - CE CAD-related occupation.
