Aggregate Sales Specialist

Berry Tractor & Equipment is a full service Komastu dealership. We sell and rent new and used Komatsu & McClosky construction equipment. Our dealership also provides parts, in house service and field service for all of your equipment needs.
Berry Tractor of Springfield, MO is seeking a Aggregate Sales Specialist. If you have previous equipment or inventory experience, have great customer service skills, and want to be a part of a growing team, apply today
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships; build confidence and call on customers.
- Assist trade in requests, and deal completion.
- Visit construction sites, offices, and individual owner/operator sites within territories.
- Promote & sell McCloskey Brand
- Create a personalized customer service relationship with new and existing customers.
- Assist in start up of new equipment sales.
- Educate decision makers on the benefits of using our equipment and emphasize the advantages of working with Berry Tractor.
- Provide solutions for customers and provide technical sales assistance as needed.
- Continually grow your knowledge base on existing and new products (machinery).
- Keep management informed of significant developments in the territory, including lost sales.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Typing and use of computer for quotation generation.
- Familiar with and ability to operate aggregate equipment.
- Organizational ability to schedule, follow-up and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
- Attend all sales meetings, trainings and trade shows as required.
- Travel with some overnight as needed to support the sales team.

- Previous aggregate tech experience a plus

Physical Requirements
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
- Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, couch, and crawl
- Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
