We are searching for a Director, Communications - Planning & Channels as part of our broader enterprise communications team. You will partner with colleagues within communications and across the enterprise to identify and support opportunities to convey relevant messaging and compelling content through a variety of internal channels.

In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of planning and delivering content that is designed to showcase the company’s progress and capabilities, while strengthening the connection between employees and the enterprise.

Your responsibilities will also include partnering with teammates to use feedback and insights to understand employee sentiment and re-balance editorial approach as needed. And you will help inject creativity and fun where appropriate and demonstrate sound judgment about when different approaches to content will be well-received.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you'll need:
  • 10+ years of professional communications or marketing experience, demonstrating the ability to identify and tell memorable narratives and how to adapt and present them most effectively through different channels.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Partner with corporate communications team to ensure content is mapped out on enterprise calendar.

  • Ability to articulate and advance an editorial approach in a collaborative environment.

  • Great storytelling skills – with an ability to write well, quickly, and accurately. Your writing captures the interest of employees and translates complex information into engaging content that resonates with them.

  • Partner with communications enablement team to use data and insights to improve the impact of the team’s work.

  • Possess practical and technical knowledge of communication channels and content production including intranet, print, video, digital and social media.

  • Partner with other content developers on storytelling angles to ensure alignment with business priorities.

  • Build trusted relationships with colleagues and business partners to counsel them on appropriate channels, timing, and other connection points.

  • Flexibility; you're a self-starter who can handle ambiguity and can adjust as business needs shift.
