Administrative Assistant I

Location This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health Pulse Point listed on this requisition.

The Administrative Assistant I is responsible for providing administrative support to an individual and/or department.

How you will make an impact:

Maintains general files, orders supplies, screens phone calls and coordinates meetings.

Compiles and distributes meeting minutes.

Coordinates travel plans and submits expense reports.

Compiles, collates, assembles meeting/presentation materials.

Utilizes various software packages to produce professional quality reports, letters, presentations, and other documents.

Performs various technical support duties such as information gathering, reporting, tracking, and researching.

Organizes chart up-dates.

Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures.

Will assist with onsite meeting and event execution.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a HS diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years administrative experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. 

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Capabilities

Proficient in Microsoft products and digital literacy strongly preferred. (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience in scheduling and managing calendars for multiple executives is strongly preferred.

Problem-solving skills to anticipate and address potential issues within the job role is preferred.

Experience in fast-paced environments and supporting multiple executives preferred.

Project management experience or skill set highly preferred.
