Job Description

ASRC Federal is seeking an Deputy Program Manager to help lead and manage our team at Sheppard Airforce Base located in Wichita, Texas. 

Responsibilities:

Serves as the alternate/deputy to the program's Site Manager for base civil engineering operationsProvides leadership for installation comprehensive planning, project programming, environmental planning, design, and construction surveillance to maintain, restore, and upgrade base facilities and infrastructure systemsProvides guidance to operations, finance and accounting, human resources, security, safety, and environmental functionsEnsures quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness; enforces organizational standardsResponsible for Quality Control and Safety. Participates in quality defects investigations and resolutions.Monitors performance of managers/supervisors; submission of required reports; contract data requirements; financial performance; and prompt resolution of performance issuesLeads the workforce in partnering with customers to continuously improve performance and business relationsServes as alternate liaison between the company and U.S Air Force stakeholders on the contractConducts briefings and participates in meetings for internal and external stakeholders for program operationsResponsible for compliance and delivery of services as defined by the contract performance objectivesPerforms critical support in base exercises as an essential member of the Emergency Operations CenterReviews and approves contract modifications, approves budget implementation, approves requisitions and project executionThis is an on-call position responsible for responding to the customer during and after duty hours

Skills:

Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement.Ability to create presentations and brief USAF senior officers and equivalent positionsAbility to motivate and lead diverse teams in service delivery and personnel managementAbility to effectively manage in a union environment

Requirements

One (1) Full time dedicated position. 

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a CE Operations Function Chief, Engineering Function Chief, or higher authority position on a U.S. military installation (AF experience is preferable) or minimum of five (5) years of experience as a contracted Operations Function Chief or higher authority positions at a U.S. military installation for a base maintenance contract or base operating services contract (AF experience is preferable).

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, physical science, or construction management from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or from a program certified by the National Architecture Accrediting Board.
