Duties

To exercise first-level managerial authority over the Military Training directorate as the Deputy Director. With the Director, the incumbent shares in managing and directing the day-to-day activities of the Military Training Directorate.

The incumbent is authorized to make technical and executive decisions for the Director in all areas of functional responsibility; represents the Director at meetings, conferences, official functions, and community events; and, when acting as the senior-most official in the absence of the Director; possessing the same authority and prerogatives excluding UCMJ authority which is vested in military officers only.
