Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Solution Architect takes the lead in one or more workstreams within intricate enterprise customer engagements. By partnering with key collaborators, they drive and achieve the envisioned goals while delivering essential outcomes. Acting as hands-on advisors, they utilize robust communication skills, in-depth solution and technical knowledge, Salesforce product expertise, industry experience, consulting experience, and a deep understanding of their client's business to ensure a positive return on investment for the customer.

Essential Job Duties

Bring in Salesforce Platform expertise for solution design and project execution Lead project implementations with responsibility of architecture designs and solution strategy Establish which Salesforce and third-party technologies to leverage in customer powered architectures, based upon product understanding, industry experience and industry standard frameworks/best practices. Estimate IT projects and analyze the short and long-term impacts of various tactical options. Deliver expert analysis and research in defining or designing business capabilities and processes. Pursue ways to apply new technology to, and reuse current technology for, business processes. Stay up to date of current technology trends both in the industry as a whole and with the applications deployed in the landscape. Research and design implementation strategies for new and/or alternate technologies that will further business goals and provide competitive benefits. Foster Salesforce user adoption Mentor and guide other technical resources.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 5+ years of relevant hands-on Salesforce configuration experience Experience with Salesforce configuration options, data model / architecture and security model Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (application design and architecture using Salesforce), Salesforce certification preferred. Previous/Current implementation experience of Salesforce solutions or other related solutions Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization. Excellent knowledge of the architectural principles of cloud based platforms including SaaS, PaaS Good understanding of all cloud offerings in the market and ability to comfortably discuss cloud architectures Experience with Medical Device and Life Sciences enabling technologies. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in technology or equivalent experience in the relevant field

Required Education and Training

Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role

Preferred Skills and Experience

Delivering high-value business outcomes applying an agile approach Confirmed results leading customer and/or partner success stories Experience working with Experience Cloud Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience are strongly recommended

This job is On-site in Sunnyvale, CA, 3 days weekly.
