As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Designing a Process to optimize Valve Assembly, Testing Process, and Lifting & Handling methods. Designing tools and fixtures to improve Valve assembly & testing and reduce set time and cycle time and improve the overall manufacturing process. Developing capacity planning and strategies for manufacturing processes. Develop capacity and utilization calculation, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing. Leading and participating in process improvement projects to identify and eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance product quality Developing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, Assembly & testing methods. Installing new equipment and ensure it operates correctly, and train others to use it. Analyzing existing systems and processes and identify value-added and non-value-added activities to implement manufacturing processes. Researching and testing design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering. Have 4+ years of experience in Assembly, Testing, and Designing Tools & Fixtures. Have a Green Belt Certification in Lean Manufacturing. Have working knowledge in Solid Works, Auto CAD, SAP, Team Center, and Cyber Plan.
