Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire

Location: Will support multiple locations in the greater Erie, PA region

Shift: Days

Essential job duties for this Maintenance Technician will include:

  • Safely troubleshoot, upgrade, install, & repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems on injection molding machines, extrusion lines, & auxiliary equipment as needed,
  • Perform maintenance & repairs of plumbing, mechanical &/or electrical equipment,
  • Inspect & test machinery, equipment, help with molds to detect causes of problems,
  • Preventative maintenance to include diagnosis & repair, dismantling machinery, remove & replace worn or defective parts, repair hoses, wiring, valves, etc., reassemble & verify proper function,
  • Read, draw, create, &/or update blueprints, schematics, manuals, & instructions as needed,
  • May need to fabricate parts to maintain or improve equipment function,
  • Evaluate & suggest ways to eliminate recurring problems.

We’re looking for Maintenance Technicians with the following background profile/skillset:

  • 2+ years of related experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing/processing,
  • Solid mechanical/electrical skills, including welding and hydraulic systems,
  • Experience in electrical distribution (24-480V)
  • Familiar with PLC operation & troubleshooting

This is a very hands on role and requires someone who is knowledgeable, punctual and possesses a positive attitude.
