Before/After School Student Worker

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students. Must be able to read, write and speak English. High School Student. Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules. Excellent customer service and reliability. Must pass fingerprint and background clearance. CPR/First Aid Certification. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25 -30 lbs. of force frequent ly, push, pull or otherwise move. Ability to walk, reach, climb or bala nce , stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 180 Days; 9 Months; Part-time
COMPENSATION: Minimum Wage
BENEFITS: As per District policy
REPORTS TO: Community Education Director
HOURS: 17.50 hours per week - Monday-Friday
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and families Learns all essential skills within a reasonable time span Assists Site Lead and Site Aides with necessary tasks: Be willing to take initiative Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed Performs other duties as assigned
