JOB DESCRIPTION: National Account Manager (NAM)

Location: Hybrid – Rosemont, IL - OR remote

Overview: As a National Account Manager supporting the brands of ZeroWater, Culligan and ProOne; this person will be a key player in driving the growth and success of our business by managing Grocery, Drug, Military, Sporting Goods/Outdoor channels within the region. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the consumer products industry. The National Account Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies, and will play a crucial role in achieving revenue targets and market share goals.

Responsibilities:

Account Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at national retail accounts. Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.

Sales Strategy:

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for national accounts. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and threats. Implement pricing, promotion, and product placement strategies to optimize sales and market share.

Negotiation:

Lead negotiations with national accounts to secure favorable terms, agreements, and promotional opportunities. Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and resolve any issues that may arise during the course of business.

Forecasting and Analysis:

Develop accurate sales forecasts and contribute to demand planning processes. Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of account strategies. Collaborate with the product development team to introduce new products or variations based on customer feedback and market demands.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a National Account Manager in the consumer products industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to travel nationally as needed.
