This Intranet Content Coordinator is responsible for continuous improvement of our current intranet, HK Today, and collaborating on the execution of a new intranet for the firm. HK Today content owners require assistance maintaining and updating their content, including receiving advice on ways to improve and streamline existing text, images and layouts. The Intranet Content Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Manager to engage stakeholders from all business services and practices within the Firm and to help those stakeholders improve the user experience and findability of information in their area(s) of business within the context of the intranet.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions :

Assisting practice and business service department leads with the discovery of optimal resources for sharing essential work tools and information/communications

Collaborating with IT, Marketing, HR, Recruiting and other groups and practices to ensure the accuracy of information presented on the intranet

Executing web page updates and creating new web pages

Creating and maintaining data sources (SharePoint Lists, web parts, document libraries, etc.)

Note-taking and reporting/relaying information to management

Guiding and training advanced users or content authors in performing basic tasks in SharePoint and other content management platforms

Testing pages and content in a UAT/Beta environment

Special project and duties as assigned

Required Skills:

Training/knowledge-sharing skills, including the ability to lead online learning sessions and provide guidance to users looking to co-manage their intranet content

Superior verbal and written English language skills with regard to grammar, spelling and style

Ability to summarize and condense complex information for the web

Exceptional follow-up and organizational skills

The ability to manage multiple collaborations simultaneously

Required Qualifications & Education:

Bachelor’s Degree.

3-5 years of experience in web production

5 years of experience in professional services

Image creation and manipulation tools such as SnagIt, Photoshop and Illustrator

Knowledge of HTML and CSS

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion and diplomacy

Ability to analyze and understand existing content and identify ways to optimize for clarity, brevity and focus, keeping in mind the internal, multi-cultural audience target.

Knowledge of SharePoint, SharePoint Online, MS Teams and related web technologies.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Sociology, Marketing, Communications or Instructional Design.

Preferred Qualifications & Education:

Experience generating, analyzing and summarizing web metrics reports

Experience using SharePoint lists with various views, or similar tools

Knowledge of ServiceNow digital platforms and products

A strong interest in optimizing web content for user productivity

Designing instructional materials for video, audio, including related visualizations

Experience using Microsoft Teams and related assets

Experience managing video content within Microsoft Stream

Knowledge of video editing software such as Camtasia

Microsoft Power Platform knowledge or an interest in mastering, especially: Power BI, Power Apps and AI Builder

Spanish language skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
