Job Description

The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Lead - Days will be responsible for the overall manufacturing process in their assigned area as well as monitoring of product quality and output yields for their line. The ideal candidate will use their knowledge and expertise of Shipping and Receiving practices to maintain and develop productivity, efficiency and employee morale.

Schedule| Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Lead, Motivate and support associates in meeting daily goals.

Maintain consistent, equal and fair performance standards for all associates. 

Monitor inventory and coordinate optimal product storage and shipment.

Oversee picking, packing, palletizing and shipment of product.

Maintain record keeping of all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Train associates on their responsibilities during onboarding and probationary periods.

Delegate responsibility amongst the team to ensure efficient completion of tasks.

Prioritize a neat and orderly working environment to prevent accidents and injuries.

Must be available to occasionally work weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

2-3 years of warehouse/ S+R experience preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Leadership skills 

Knowledge of GMP, food plant operations and safety.

Ability to operate a manual and automatic pallet jack.

Experience operating a sit-down forklift preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to reach above shoulder level, climb, balance, kneel, bend over, etc.

Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble small objects, boxes, etc. 

Be physically active for 8 hours without becoming fatigued or out of breath.

Stand for 8 hours a day. 

Frequently lift and or move 40+ pounds 

Occasionally lift and or move 75+ pounds
