General Description:

Senior IT Service Support Engineer will provide remote and occasional on-site support for clinic facing issues and project implementations. You will be responsible for Desktop PCs, servers, networks and cloud technologies (Azure) and Office 365. The Senior IT Service Support Engineer will also be responsible for support documentation and problem determination documentation as well as assisting in software/hardware rollout. The position requires strong computer skills which includes; device and TCP/IP network configuration, familiarity of hardware installation and support, and an in depth knowledge of Windows Computer Management. Knowledge of basic programming including understanding of Powershell and/or batch files is a plus. Must have strong customer service orientation, problem solving skills, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to multi-task open issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years of proven experience in the same or similar role, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT systems and network administration. They will hold an associate's degree at a minimum, with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field highly preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered. This individual will exhibit exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks. They will excel at multi-tasking and consistently meeting multiple deadlines, showcasing strong organizational and time-management skills. As a resourceful technology troubleshooter, the candidate will bring hands-on expertise with Fortinet, Azure, Microsoft Windows, and network security protocols. Additionally, they will have practical experience in LAN/WAN network infrastructure and the capability to generate comprehensive reports, making them a reliable and efficient asset to the team.

Responsibilites

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive IT desktop and network support, troubleshoot technical issues, and deploy and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure and related hardware and software. They will ensure network integrity, security, and server deployment through best practices and coordinate with the IT Manager on implementing policies, firewalls, and ACLs. Responsibilities include designing and upgrading infrastructure, managing Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft server environments, and automating administrative tasks with scripting. Administer and support Microsoft server operating systems, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory, including device management via Intune across multiple domains. Automate server administration using PowerShell and other scripting methods. They will oversee network connectivity, security, backups, and documentation while collaborating with vendors, participating in change management, and cross-training team members. Additional duties include maintaining equipment inventory, managing Office 365, and executing ad hoc IT projects.

Travel:

Employee must have reliable transportation. Employee must be able to travel and be available to travel at notice for immediate projects. Expected to be available a maximum of 2 weeks of the month for travel. Hotel, flight accommodations and the daily allotted per diem will be provided. No gas or toll fees will be reimbursed in this position as travel is a requirement of the job function.
