Creates and process requisitions as needed to complete production orders. Facilitate receiving process, perform inspections to verify quality meets specification and quantity is accurate and record in SAP. Schedule supplier pickup and delivery; expedite parts to meet the business needs; track and resolve past due purchase orders. Resolve quality deviations, working with customers for the best overall solution. Identify pending supply interruption pro-actively and communicate appropriately. Able to execute inventory management processes that achieve departmental/corporate requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to individuals within the area of the business assigned to support. Maintain effective communication with other departments/customers to ensure information is shared in a timely manner. Identify and help implement opportunities that encourage continuous improvement.Job Qualifications: (Indicate requirements/desired that are job-related and consistent with business necessity, e.g. Education & Certifications, experience, knowledge, skills & competencies/job dimensions of working relationships.)
High school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area Prior forklift experience and/or certification preferred Able to regularly handle items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle items weighing up to 75 pounds. Demonstrate appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills. Demonstrate good verbal and written communications skills including a professional, self-confident image. Proficient in personal computer application (Word, Excel, SAP, etc.). Able to work overtime as needed. Have a good work record of safety, self-motivation, judgment and productivity.
