Ice Rink Installation Foreman

gpac, a 30+ year recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Ice Rink/Ammonia Refrigeration industry. Our client is a leader in creating ice rinks that provide a cool escape for both professional and recreational skaters alike.

This amazing opportunity allows you to take charge as an Ice Rink Installation Foreman, overseeing the construction and installation of ice rinks from start to finish. If you have a passion for creating icy masterpieces and enjoy working in a fun-filled environment, this is the job for you

 

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and lead a team of skilled technicians in the installation of ice rinks

- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards

- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, backhoes, compactors, laser graders, and more

- Perform HDPE fusion welding (socket, butt, pit bull, 2-8) with precision and accuracy

- Utilize self-leveling rotary grade lasers to ensure precise measurements for leveling the ice rink surface

- Operate concrete core drilling machines to create foundation holes

- Read and interpret construction drawings to guide the installation process
