Clinical Assistant -Estate in Lucedale, MS
The Estate at Riverbend is an industry leader in providing hope and healing to people with substance use addiction and associated co-occurring disorders. We currently have an immediate opening for a Clinical Assistant position for our Lucedale, MS location.

Position Summary:
In this role, the Clinical Assistant will assist in the overall care and supervision of residents. The Clinical Assistant will function in a professional manner and evidence of a positive attitude in all aspects of work. The performance of all duties will be consistent with Bradford’s philosophy, enhance the therapeutic environment and protect the confidentiality of all patients
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Be aware of where residents are at all times, circulating around the facility on a regular basisAssists in client orientation to facility and programAssure that all clients follow the program schedule and are on time for each assignmentDemonstrate the ability to communicate and relate to residents clearly and effectivelyReports any infractions of policy to administrationSupervise client activities as directedAssure that clients are in their rooms at the designated times in the eveningAttend staff training programs as scheduledProvide emotional support and assistance to clients in crisis, under direction of the clinical teamParticipates in transport and supervision of clients to and from activitiesDemonstrate knowledge and skill in non-violent crisis interventionsMaintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality with respect to patient and potential patient interactions and identifying informationRegular attendance, do other related jobs which are necessary to the daily operation of The Estate, and as requested by therapist and the Supervisor.Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dual diagnosed populationGood communication skillsValid Driver’s license and a safe driving recordEducation:
High School graduate or GEDPhysical Requirements:
Must walk within the facility and on the grounds for approximately 1 mile per 12-hour shiftMust be capable of administering CPR (Certification required)Must be able to bend and stoop from a standing position to the floorMust be able to stand continuously in increments of 45 minutes to 1 hourMust be able to physically assist a disoriented or intoxicated resident of average weight of 140 to 170 lbs from the floor to a chair or bed.Must be emotionally and physically capable of functioning under stressful situations.If recovering, 1 year of continuous verifiable abstinenceWe Offer:
