The Engineer, I&C participates in a team environment consisting of engineers and designers to produce construction documents for one or more of the following systems: Instrumentation and Controls, Telecommunications, Fire Alarm, and Security.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Assist in performing engineering tasks for the design of technology systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional
  • Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
  • Coordinates with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
  • Assist in the development of conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include the development of technology schematic diagrams, technology equipment layout, cable routing, details, and the like
  • Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
  • Coordination with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines’ inputs are incorporated
  • Assists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline team
  • Works to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships both internal and external
  • Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
  • Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred
  • Basic knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systems
  • Good time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to details
  • Prior experience in Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Individual must possess strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products
