Financial Analyst

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office one day per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Norfolk, VA, Mason, OH, Atlanta, GA, St. Louis, MO, Wallingford, CT or Louisville, KY.

The Financial Analyst responsible for reviewing and preparing interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions.

How you will make an impact:

Responsible for operating expense planning, forecasting and monthly close processes for pharmacy business.

Identifies complex financial problems or issues, research solutions, and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of efficiency.

Advises management on various financial models and recommendations.

Prepares budget reports and analysis of business cost drivers.

Acts as a resource for staff or outside departments.

Trains and reviews the work of other Financial Analysts.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy.
