We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join the AWS Partner Intelligence Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions for internal stakeholders within the AWS Partner Organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, understanding their unique business needs, and delivering impactful insights that drive success.

Key job responsibilities

Create source-of-truth datasets using SQL

Work with stakeholders to identify business reporting needs
Design and build production level dashboards to accelerate information-to-action at scale

Improve existing reporting by developing automated solutions and creating actionable insights

Improve the adoption of self-service analytical tools by acting as a subject matter expert (SME)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- 2-3+ years Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- 2-3+ years Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- 2-3+ years Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
