As an Inisight Google Cloud Business Development Specialist (BDS) at SADA, you’ll be responsible for driving pipeline and sales growth within the designated region by identifying, qualifying and referring Google Cloud sales and services opportunities via the established SADA leads process. This role is focused on prospecting internally across our parent company Insight. As such, it will be key to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders – predominantly Insight/SADA and occasionally Google – in order to target accounts that are mutually profitable. Successful candidates will have an entrepreneurial mentality, combined with an analytical and data-centric approach and will enjoy reaching out to prospects and partners to drive business.
You’ll work with the Insight internal sales teams to assist with qualification (including assessment of revenue potential), identification of key decision-makers, and delivery of planned and “just in time” enablement to ensure efficient hand-off to SADA sales teams.
Those who thrive in this role are driven to be the best they can be every day by continuously applying feedback and best practices. If you’re ready to be a part of a team that is leading the charge in transforming an industry (& your future career), this is the perfect opportunity for you
Responsibilities
Build a strong pipeline of prospective customers by sourcing potential leads and managing follow-up of leads through to close (either active deal or disqualified)
As part of a team, execute an enablement calendar to Insight sales team locally–rolling up sleeves and contributing to delivery of these as needed. If in office, manage local execution (host speakers, partner with folks on logistics, etc.)
Be the THE go to for questions around GCP products and available services with a focus on Google Cloud VMWare Engine (GCVE), Workspace, Gen AI & Security
Provide coordination between internal Insight sales teams and SADA sales teams as it relates to opportunities within region
Build relationships with and between internal Insight sales teams, SADA sales teams, and Google field sales teams
Proactively identify and collaborate on potential Insight ISV renewals through the Google Marketplace and associated Services projects
Maintain pipeline and deal reg hygiene quality for region
Achieve and exceed quarterly goals for qualified and closed leads
Pathway to Success
#MakeThemRave is at the foundation of all we do. Our motivation is to provide customers with an exceptional experience in migrating, developing, modernizing, and operationalizing their systems in Google Cloud Platform.
Your success starts by positively impacting the direction of a fast-growing practice with vision and passion. You will be measured by the breadth, magnitude, and quality of your contributions, feedback at the close of projects, how well you collaborate with your peers, and the consultative polish you bring to rep and customer interactions.
Expectations
Required Travel - up to 10% travel to other Insight offices, and other related events.
Customer Facing - You will interact with customers on a regular basis. Common touchpoints occur when qualifying potential opportunities and throughout the engagement as progress is communicated. You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives.
