Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities · Work with team to accurately enter product code information based on requests from hospital units and guidelines set forth by hospital administration· Review and verify existing charge code information to ensure accuracy and consistency· Other data entry projects assigned by Manager of Business Information Systems

Minimum Qualifications Position Summary The VTH is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated student/temporary worker to assist in data entry projects. This position will play a crucial role in the review and creation of product codes in the electronic medical record (VetView).Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position · Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Georgia, preferably in a related field (Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Computer Science or a similar discipline).· Previous experience in data entry role is preferred.· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry systems· Strong attention to detail and accuracy· Excellent organization and time management skills· Ability to work independently or as part of a team· Good communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies - High level of attention to detail and superb organizational skills.
-Due to the fast-paced nature of this work environment, extraordinary time management skills are necessary. The ability to critically think through day to day challenges in the workplace.
-Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn a new computer system easily. Physical Demands Sitting for long periods of time.
