Job Summary:

Career Systems is seeking a Residential Advisor to create a comfortable, safe, and supportive atmosphere for residents in student housing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising students, providing informal counseling, and documenting student records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in personal hygiene, room assignments, and recreational activities
• Provide informal counseling on stress management, personal problems, and emergency situations
• Document student records and access relevant data
• Conduct evening and overnight bed checks as required
• Facilitate small group discussions on life skills and conflict resolution
• Assess situations for confidentiality and report as necessary
• Facilitate prompt assistance to students in emergency situations
• Meet with students individually to document progress
• Perform daily checks of dorm and outdoor areas to ensure safety and security
• Facilitate weekly dorm meetings and accountability checks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license
• Six months experience in education or similar field
• Possess a B.A. or B.S. degree in a behavioral health field (preferred)

Available Shift:

Saturday 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Sunday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday & Tuesday 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Wednesday 2:00 PM to Midnight, Thursday & Friday Off
