Qualifications:

- Prior experience in residential care services management

-Ability to complete training required for position

-Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise manner

-Ability to interact with team members in a positive and supportive manner

-Ability to provide supervision and leadership to staff

-Verification of health status relating to the job requirements

-Three references deemed acceptable to the agency

-Current and valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

 

What will you do as a Manager?

KEY RESPONSIBLITES:

1) Supervise and direct staff in their job performance and duties.
Ensure home is properly staffed to meet resident needs.

2) Train and supervise staff in client programs and activities.  Develop and plan site programs and activities.

3) Identify problems and situations interfering with the consumer’s progress in meeting program goals.  

4) Attend all person-centered planning meetings, related program planning meetings, and in-service training pertaining to consumers.

5) Maintain awareness of the site’s policies and procedures and those of state regulatory agencies.  Monitor compliance to those regulations.

6) Manage and supervise the use of all in home funds and any necessary reports.
